RION NL-62 Class 1 Precision Sound Level Meter with low-frequency measurement capability.

The unit powers on properly and responds to ambient sound. Basic measurement functions, menu operations, data storage, and the installed analysis software were checked.

The installed NX-62RT Octave / 1/3 Octave Real-time Analysis Program was tested. The octave analysis screen displayed properly. During a simple test using a smartphone piano application, the frequency-band display responded to changes in pitch, with the indicated frequency bands shifting according to lower and higher tones.
