Was used occasionally for extra cameras in LiveGrade system, to ingest live view from extra cameras. Allows ingest/recording of HD-SDI or HDMI signal by a Thunderbolt2 equipped computer to various recording codecs. Uses Thunderbolt2 connection.
Please note: Blackmagic Design dropped support for this model as of Desktop Video 15. And Apple phased out the required Thunderbolt2 drivers as of OSX 13 Ventura onwards. So, these only work on Thunderbolt2 Intel Macs running OSX 12 or earlier.
