Swimming pool filter pumps keep clean water circulating by pumping clean water out of the pool, through the filter element and back again, saving water resources. The filter pump comes with two hoses and connects to two separate points in the pool. The loose end of one hose is attached to the inlet of the filter pump, and the end of the other hose is inserted into the outlet. Water is drawn from the pool at 300 gallons (1136 liters) per hour and through the inlet hose, then sanitized by the filter element and pumped back through the outlet hose.
