Beautiful antique silverplate soap box featuring an elegant high-relief repousse floral design with a large central rose surrounded by rosebuds. This Victorian/Art Nouveau era vanity piece was originally intended to hold a bar of soap and would have been displayed on a dressing table or washstand.

The interior retains its original maker’s, Reed & Barton. The reverse is engraved with a decorative script monogram, adding to its antique character and charm.

The hinged lid opens and closes properly with the original clasp. A lovely collectible that also works beautifully as a jewelry, trinket, or keepsake box.
