Description: Striking and highly detailed fine unusual oversize original colored lithographic vintage advertising poster, titled "Enjoy the Riches of Britain by the Thames Valley," dating back to the 1950s and commissioned by the historic British bus company Thames Valley Traction Company Limited.
The Artist: The artwork is signed lower right by renowned English painter and illustrator Derrick Sayer (1917–1992).
The Style: Sayer adopts a rich, full-bodied pictorial style, typical of postwar British travel posters, which aims to convey a sense of elegance, tranquility, and historical prestige.
The Subject: The illustration captures the baroque splendor of Hampton Court Palace, a former royal residence located on the River Thames, southwest of London.
The Garden: The perspective focuses on the famous Great Fountain Garden, with its symmetrical paths lined with pruned yew trees and wooden benches.
The Statue: In the far left foreground stands one of the monumental bronze sculptures that decorate the palace gardens. In the Background: The imposing Baroque façade (the East Front), designed by Sir Christopher Wren in the late 17th century for King William III, stands out, partially obscured by the majestic water features of the large central fountain.

Condition: Very strong and dark impression. Poster sticked on canvas on the reverse. Sheet old original colored. Conditions are as you can see in the images.
