For your consideration is a Navajo silver bolo tie with a blue turquoise from the kingman mine , this I tan was taken in as trade a few months before my grandfather went to serve during WW ll so this bolo tie was most likely made at the start of 1940 or the end of the 1930’s it is not stamped as silver but did test as silver according to my grandfather this was made by melting Mexican silver coins left over when the southwest was still part of Mexico ,this bolo tie is for repair as it’s missing a part in the rear that folds down to hold the leather straps . It’s a beautiful piece that needs some TLC .happy bidding .
