1907 Framed Oil Seascape Painting titled "Afterglow".  It is signed with a monogram WHT and a label at the back which I think reads  by W. H. Thomas? The painting has a few small areas where varnish is visible and yellowed, and a few areas of dirt on the paint. It is darkened and rubbed on the very ends / edges where it has rubbed against the frame border. This is only visible when removed from the frame. Other then this is in very good condition. This painting is framed behind glass and set so that it is not touching the glass and can "breath". The frame is beautiful, but does have multiple chips and areas of wear. The corner seams where the wood joins has widened and caused slight movement in the frame, but it is not coming apart, but would benefits from some staples at the back to prevent further widening. There are only a few nails at the back holding the picture in place, hence why I was able to rotate the nails and remove it from the frame. The picture on its own measures 35.5cm x 46cm, in its frame it measures 55cm x 65.5cm.
