It was acquired as a used item from a development agency or research institute.
The Radcal Model 9015 was powered on using four AA batteries.
The LCD screen displayed properly.
When the 9060A converter and 10X5-6M chamber were connected, the controller displayed “Chamber 6M / Kq 1.000,” confirming that the chamber was recognized.
The SELECT dial responded, and the menu display changed between Dose Rate, Dose Accum/Hold, Auto Dose, and Power Off.
The ENTER button responded properly.
The unit entered the Dose Rate measurement screen and displayed “0 mR/min” without a radiation source.
The detector window of the 10X5-6M chamber has visible dents, wrinkles, and deformation.
Although the chamber was recognized by the controller, the effect of this physical condition on measurement accuracy has not been verified.
Please carefully review the close-up photos of the detector window before purchase.
A calibration label is attached; however, the calibration period expired in March 2026.
Please note that we do not perform calibration. Even if the previous owner had the unit calibrated, we cannot guarantee its measurement accuracy.
Actual radiation measurement, measurement accuracy, sensitivity, and full professional operation have not been tested.
The item should be inspected and calibrated by a qualified technician before professional use.
AA batteries and an AC adapter are not included.
