You have found the missing piece to your antique tool collection! Here is a folding shoe ruler from Belcher Bros. & Co., USA. This is made of wood & brass and has 1 hinged section with 2 folding pegs. It is stamped in two sections of 13 to measure both children and adults. Plus, it has a 12" scale stamped on the other side. Produced between 1853-1885. When fully open it measures 15 1/4" long, folded it is 9 1/4" long. The ruler is in very good preowned condition based on wear from use.
