Very early Japan import, may be international?? (befor MG) This is a mew old stock item, no box. Some tarnish, but can be clean very easily. It does have DC motor. I did not test run this locomotive and do not know the quality of running. Looks to have never even been tested. Note, you could do some research on this. May be an interesting model. I've had this for probably 40+ years. Have a much larger one I will be listing later.
