CONCHITA | A Bespoke Handcrafted Tiny Home on Wheels 

Meet Conchita.

Conchita was never designed to feel like a standard campervan conversion, but as a fully integrated tiny home — calm, spacious and deeply welcoming.

Built inside an exceptionally rare extra-long 2006 Mercedes Sprinter Luton body, the space was designed intentionally around openness, comfort and atmosphere rather than simply fitting a bed, kitchen and bathroom into a vehicle. Despite its impressive proportions and approximately 8.2 metre total length, Conchita can still be driven on a standard licence.

The interior combines natural wood, stained glass, warm textures and carefully considered layout choices to create a space that feels far closer to a small studio apartment than a conventional campervan.

The shower was intentionally designed to remain partially open, maintaining connection with the warmth and openness of the interior rather than feeling enclosed or separated. From the shower you can still see the kitchen, living space and natural light flowing throughout the van rather than feeling shut inside a separate compartment.

The bed was carefully positioned facing into the heart of Conchita rather than towards a wall or enclosed corner. This means mornings feel open, peaceful and immersive — waking up with natural light passing through the stained glass, views across the interior and the feeling of being inside a real living space rather than a boxed-in camper layout.

The overall design was heavily influenced by my love of interiors that combine beauty with comfort — blending warmth, atmosphere and craftsmanship inspired by both Arabic and European interiors with practical off-grid living.

Conchita is being sold not simply as a vehicle, but as a unique design project shaped through an enormous amount of creativity, craftsmanship and attention to detail, with a beautifully finished and highly professional overall build quality.

Conchita has only been lightly lived in for approximately two months, meaning the conversion remains in excellent condition with very minimal real-world use.

The vehicle itself has not had a heavy travelling lifestyle and was mainly used for transport and moving purposes rather than long-term touring. Both the engine and bodywork remain in extremely good condition, and the van drives beautifully. For a Mercedes of this size and age, the mileage remains relatively moderate.

Everything inside Conchita is brand new — including the electrical systems, appliances, fridge/freezer, fittings, insulation, ventilation systems, furniture and most interior materials throughout the build.

Comfort and insulation were also an important part of the design. Because the generous proportions of the Luton body allowed more space to work with, the van was designed with double insulation throughout the walls, ceiling and flooring using high-quality Celotex rigid insulation materials. This was done intentionally to help Conchita remain warm and cosy during winter while also helping the interior stay cooler and more comfortable throughout summer.

Natural light and connection with the outside were central to the overall concept. Conchita features six windows positioned throughout the bedroom, living area, kitchen and bathroom, creating a bright and open atmosphere throughout the interior.

Two remote-controlled skylights with integrated fans further enhance airflow, ventilation and the overall feeling of openness inside the vehicle.

With exceptional interior height, a carefully designed open layout and unusually generous proportions throughout, Conchita offers a rare feeling of light, calm and genuine spaciousness that is very difficult to find in most camper conversions.

Viewings are highly encouraged, as the atmosphere of the space is something that photographs alone struggle to fully capture.

The inward-facing bed orientation was one of the intentional architectural decisions made during the design process, helping the bedroom remain visually connected to the living space rather than feeling isolated or enclosed.
