Product Description

The AEM 30-2404 is a direct replacement wideband oxygen sensor for AEM's Part #30-0300 X-Series Wideband UEGO AFR Gauge and kits equipped with the "0400" serial number sensor. Co-developed with global automotive supplier FAE, this sensor was engineered specifically to address the shortcomings of the industry-standard Bosch 4.9 LSU sensor in demanding motorsport conditions.

While the Bosch 4.9 LSU offers strong light-off and response performance, it tends to degrade quickly in high-performance racing environments — leaded fuels, rich mixtures, 2-step rev limiters, and high-frequency vibration all take a toll. AEM's five years of development with FAE produced a sensor validated to last longer and respond faster under these same harsh conditions.

When paired with a compatible AEM controller and connector plug, this sensor never requires free-air calibration, simplifying setup for owners maintaining an existing AEM wideband system. It's backed by AEM's 2-year extended warranty, longer than the standard coverage on most wideband sensors.
