This vintage collectable is not intended for children aged 3 years and under.

An unusual pair of vintage gold-tone chain-link cufflinks, probably dating from the 1950s or 1960s.

Each cufflink has an elongated, gently curved torpedo-shaped bar connected by a short chain to a circular decorative face.

The round faces contain an attractive abstract mixture of yellow and silver metallic fibres or foil beneath a clear resin or Lucite-style surface. The irregular woven appearance gives the inserts a distinctive Mid-Century textured and sparkling finish.

The double-sided chain-link construction is characteristic of traditional cufflinks and allows greater flexibility when worn than a rigid toggle mechanism.

No maker’s name or precious-metal marks are visible.
