A stunning example of a highly pyritised ammonite fossil of the species Crucilobiceras densinodulum from the world famous Jurassic Coast beach of Charmouth, Dorset UK.

The fossil measures 13 mm (0.52 inches) across, which is small for this species and so ideal for jewellery purposes. The ammonite is very well preserved in pyrite on both sides and has good detail in the ribbing. A beautiful fossil that is packed full of detail.

These beautiful fossils have long been used to make natural jewellery.

Around 196 million years old, this fossil would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
