This is an antique Japanese pottery tea bowl, which was made by the 1st class potter, Mokubei Aoki (1767-1833) about 200 years ago, at the early 19th century.
Mokubei Aoki is one of the greatest potters of OLD KUTANI ware.
Japanese aristocracies in old times are hand-painted.
The signature of the potter is written on the body, too.
The wooden storage box (no signature) is also included.
