This is a set of vintage Japanese 5 pottery Sake cups of Hagi ware, which was made by one of the greatest potters of Hagi ware, the 10th Koraizaemon Saka (1890-1958) about 70 years ago.
He was the one of the greatest potters of Hagi ware in those age, and the Emperor and loyal families officially ordered his works to him.
In addition, he was recognized as the human treasure with valuable technique (the old system of Japanese Human National Treasure) from Japanese government.
His most popular seal, 'Kanpo' is stamped on the bottom.
The original wooden box with the signature of the potter & the profile of the potter are also included.
