Where do I start? I purchased this in April this year, we basically adopted a puppy and decided that our holiday style had to change as we didn't want our dog to miss out, so the idea of a camper build arose. Unfortunately, my work have been going through some major restructuring processes over the last 50 or so days and as a result of that I am being made redunant, I have a company vehicle which is my main mode of transport, but ultimately I am going to have to let this go in order to create myself a safety net and buy something cheap as transport.

When I purchased the van it was on some disgusting 20 inch wheels, I have sacked them off and got some 18" Genuine Sportlines with brand new Kumhos all round (I have the centre caps just need to fit them). It is complimented by 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers with the correct wheel bolts. It had the original T5 steering wheel which I have changed for a MK5 GTTDi wheel and supporting airbag loom. And I have had both the sliding door windows replaced as it had the leaky sliding ones, so solid ones have been fitted by Plymouth Windscreens.

I have had a Darkside Developments Hardpipe kit fitted (due to the intercooler pipe clips being weak), power steering pump cooler, new rear engine mount fitted, top mounts, ball joints and anti roll bar links.

In 2022 at 148k, it had the camshaft and ancillaries replaced (a known weak point), a new turbo and glowplugs.

Interior wise, its full grey/blue leather, front seats are heated. JVC stereo with Apple Carplay (wired only, cable in glovebox). There is a leisure battery under the passenger captain seat, which has a split charge function (in the engine bay), it goes to a 5 switch panel with a 12V and USB charger on it, and it has spotlights in the roof. The rear has been carpeted and insulated, and the boot floor is rubberised. 

BAD POINTS

- It's a T5, there is some rust, around the door handles of both sliding doors, a dent in the drivers sliding door, and 2 small dents in the bootlid where I THINK someone had a bike carrier? I have photos of all this, and a video of underneath the van.

- AC needs regassing. Compressor kicks in so no fault other than lack of refrigant.

Overall a very good egg, and as much as I have tried to make ends meet, this is unfortunately where I have to make the tough decision to move her on.

The registration is VX56 SVZ which is now back on the van and I have the V5C here so she is ready to go.
