A mysterious singing voice from the Republic of Buryatia, a small country surrounded by Russia and Mongolia! ] Namgal Hasaranova, a notable artist who decided to come to Japan in October 2014, is a Japan original edition! Buryatia, the birthplace of the diva Namgar of Buryatia, a republic in Central Asia, which can be said to be the last unexplored place of world music, is one of the republics in the Russian Federation bordering Irkutsk Oblast to the north, the Zabaikaliye region to the east, Mongolia to the south, and Tuva to the west.
Located in southern Siberia, where the steppe spreads out, and includes Lake Baikal, the largest lake in Asia, it has nurtured a unique culture that mixes elements from Russia, China, and Mongolia.
Born into a nomadic family in Buryatia, Namgar created originality by discovering the songs of shamans who communicated with nature and incorporating them into his own music, while learning traditional songs and dances that have been passed down in Buryatia.
After graduating from the Moscow Conservatory of Music, he began to interact with musicians from various countries, and he became highly regarded both in Russia and abroad.
Currently, he is based in Moscow and is active not only in live performances, but also on TV and radio.
From her two albums, 2008 and 2013, 12 songs have been selected for Japan, including Rice Records' original compilation of "Nomads of the Steppe". The
sound of Buryatian traditional music flowing in Namgar's blood with advanced arrangements of rock and jazz is truly the ultimate frontier music that many people experience for the first time.
Traditional instruments such as the yataga (koto) and morin hall (matouqin), which are widely used in Mongolia and other Central Asia, and the chanza, which is also known as the Russian sanshin, have been added with modern instruments such as electric guitars, basses, drums, and synthesizers to create a floating mixed sound here.
Added to this is the beautiful melistic traditional singing by Namgal, and its originality is completed.
This is one of the new trends that world music fans are looking for! Please experience the unknown music of Southern Siberia and Lake Baikal in this work! 10/23 Kochi 10/24 Fukuoka 10/25 Kobe 10/26 Tokyo Musashino Swing Hall 10/27 Tokyo Tsukimi Rukumi-sofu An
