Beautifully hand decorated, mid 19th century salad plate, most likely by a British maker. The design consists of rich blue with a gold center motif and gold rim. The plate measures 9 inches across. There are no chips but there is a hairline crack that is only visible from the bottom. There are some scratches to the blue and knifemarkes to the gold medallion, but nothing that detracts from the overall beauty of the piece. Please look at the photos to judge for yourself.
