This sale offers a wide array of fine estate items that include Chinese ceramics, jades, bronzes, estate jewelry, and other interesting objects. The items include jewelry pieces from an Important collection that was brought out of Hong Kong by the family c1950. The sale also includes several choice examples from our dear friend the late Chinese art scholar and collector Mr.Pao. Mr. Pao was internationally known and highly regarded as a knowledgeable Chinese art scholar, collector and dealer with a passion for Ming and pre-Ming ceramics. Mr.Pao owned a high-end Chinese art gallery that was within the Four Seasons hotel in Toronto.

Part of a large estate collection being offered this week that includes fine Satsuma and cloisonne examples.

This vase is one of the finer examples we have seen in some time. The vase is intricately decorated with a large figural landscape that surrounds the exterior. The vase also has fine gold gilt work including raised gilt features to the inner vase neck. The superb quality of this vase leads us to believe this vase is likely by a well recognized artist, which is well worth investigating. This very fine Satsuma vase is being offered Without Reserve!

Condition: Estate-fresh, very minor glaze imperfections consistent with age as seen in the images that serve as part of the condition report. The vase is in very fine condition with no porcelain chips, cracks or repairs. UV light reveals no hidden damage.

Size: The Vase measures approx 3-1/2 inches tall by 2 inches wide.
