Hello, thank you for viewing our summer estate auctions.

This sale offers a wide array of fine estate items that include Chinese ceramics, jades, bronzes, estate jewelry, and other interesting objects. The items include jewelry pieces from an Important collection that was brought out of Hong Kong by the family c1950. The sale also includes several choice examples from our dear friend the late Chinese art scholar and collector Mr.Pao. Mr. Pao was internationally known and highly regarded as a knowledgeable Chinese art scholar, collector and dealer with a passion for Ming and pre-Ming ceramics. Mr.Pao owned a high-end Chinese art gallery that was within the Four Seasons hotel in Toronto.

A fine example being offered from the H.H.Pao collection.

The dish has a unique shallow-dish Song dynasty period design. The dish has a particularly rich and vibrant sky-blue Junyao crackle glaze. The dish features a finely carved and formed footrim. This dish was noted in the collection as dating from the Song to the Jin dynasty. The dish had an old price label for 8500 dollars when we received it and we believe Mr. Pao would have priced this dish several decades ago. This fine early Junyao dish is being offered Without Reserve!

Condition: The Dish is in fine Estate Fresh condition with one rim flaw as seen. Otherwise no other damage or repairs. UV light reveals no hidden damage. The display stand is included.

Size: The Dish measures approx 5-1/4 inches across by 1-1/4 inches tall at the rim.
