Application guide:
The Metal Interface Frame has a self adhesive mount which should be applied using the following instructions.
1. The self adhesive pad will develop a strong bond if the LCD screen is warmed prior to application, leave your camera recording for approximately 12 minutes before and just after the frame is applied – as the camera gets moderately warm during the recording.
2. Whilst applying the interface frame set your camera to display a bright full screen image such as camera menu in its brightest state as it will aid the correct and even placement of the interface frame.
3. Now, remove the paper backing and carefully apply the frame onto the camera body while ensuring that there is an even border around the LCD.
4. Apply pressure (massage it with your fingers) to ensure the best bond between the frame and camera.
5. Leave a weight on top of the freshly applied frame for at least for 15 minutes while your camera is recording as the heat generated will ensure a good fit.
6. Initial bond strength of approximately 76% is achieved after 15 minutes and the camera will be safe to use.
