Copious illustrations of Escher's extraordinary graphic art with an autobiographical introduction by him and detailed notes by him to classify and describe the included works. We are used to seeing Escher's works in black and white but this, more recent, book is notable for the the much larger use of full colour plates which greatly enhance the visual experience.

All text is in English, French and German, The book is in excellent condition except that the corners of the covers are slightly pinched.
