Design:
Front is decorated in a vibrant, classic palette of underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron-red enamel. The
asymmetric design mimics the stepped folds of a Japanese hand fan over the fish body, featuring intricate floral
patterns, bamboo and geometric panels.
Reverse features beautiful hand-painted underglaze Makimono(auspicious sacred scrolls) on a soft wash background.

- Expect minor, expected fleabites and iron spots in the glaze consistent with age late 19th century kiln firing
