Description A beautiful large English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver photograph frame by Samuel M Levi (1889 - 1931) in good condition and with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1902. Lovely quality and a good size, measures approx 9 inches (230mm) in height x 7.1 inches (180mm) wide, the internal photo measurement is approx 5.5 inches x 4 inches. Has a nice wide silver mounted front decorated with embossed flowers and foliage and it is complete with its original velvet covered backing and working hinged easel stand and also has its protective glass front. Comes with a genuine antique photograph, (not a copy) and there are no added personal engraved inscriptions. Great silver frame.

Date English antique solid sterling silver with a full set of silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1902 (date letter "c"). Good clear silver marks and the silversmiths initials are "S.M.L", (Samuel M Levi - 1889 - 1931).

Condition Good condition with no repairs to the silver and no nasty knocks or dents, just has little age-related surface dents/bruises from normal use, honestly nothing at all bad and a very nice genuine antique example and 124 years old. Lovely big size and very decorative and the original velvet covered backing is also in good condition and the hinged easel stand still works perfectly. Comes with its antique photograph and also has its protective glass and there are no added personal engravings. Beautiful Edwardian silver photo frame.
