An antique, silver plated hot water jug made in Sheffield by James Deakin & Sons. Of bulbous form, the jug features an angular handle with two insulators and a polished stone weight for the hinged lid. Possibly from a design by Christopher Dresser.
Height approx. 19 cm, from handle to spout approx. 14.5 cm. Holds just under 2 pints.
CONDITION ~ Structurally sound and in good antique condition with no dents or plate loss. There are some 'pitting' spots to the handle and minimal light scratches to the body. Please take a good look at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions.
Where possible, I will always combine postage.
