This power supply with an choice of 10 or 20 meter cable provides power for the heater element in the Ecowitt Ultrasonic anemometers. Using the optional heater helps to keep snow and ice clear of the wind sensor plate gauze improving readings in subzero temperatures and also provides a power source for the WS90 (WittBoy) in dark locations. We ensure that the power adapter is supplied with a UK or European mains plug. It is recommended that the power transformer is housed in a dry location, ideally indoors and only the low voltage cable is outdoors.
