Here is a very cool early, yet unsmoked, USA made pipe by L & H Stern Co., called CERTIFIED PUREX. The pipe is early, I’d guess from the 1940’s, still unsmoked and mint. I’ve included a reference page from Pipephil. I think it’s made of Mediterranean briar, and this one has some elaborate hand rustication on the surface. The pipe is a full-scale bent billiard. The pipe is mint and unsmoked; the inside has no signs of use. The stem is vulcanite, with logo on the top. It has a screw fitment, which was a design for this model, and it draws well for having the stinger. Weighs in about 1.65 ounces, freshly polished and is ready to smoke!
