Here's a McIntosh MR-78 stereo tuner, arguably one of the finest stereo tuners ever manufactured.  It was designed by Richard Modafferi and is the companion tuner to the McIntosh C-33 stereo preamplifier I'm listing separately this week. I purchased both components half a dozen years ago from the unsold (used) inventory of an audio store in central PA that had recently closed its doors.

Condition is excellent, and the tuner comes with its original Panloc cabinet and hardware and its original grill. Everything appears to be functioning properly. Panel lights are working, meters are working, muting is working, stereo/mono switching is working, reception is great, controls are quiet, output is crisp and clear. Gleaming chrome, crisp nomenclature, undamaged glass. 

In the video, I'm using nothing more than a 6-foot piece of stranded copper wire for the antenna. As you can see, sensitivity/reception are nonetheless excellent, despite the fact that I live out in the country, 30 miles from the closest FM radio station. In the first photo, where you see the stereo light on, indicating it's pulling in a stereo signal, I'm using nothing for an antenna. How's that for sensitivity?

I don't know when the tuner was last serviced, but everything appears to be in good order, at least to the "naked ear" and the "naked eye."

That said, I haven't subjected the tuner to any kind of extensive testing, nor do I have the equipment or skill-set to do so. You're buying a used, 50-year-old piece of audio equipment, so you get all the normal caveats here that go along with that.
