The carver simulated the decoy is a swimming motion.


The hand carved wood body decoy is weighted.


It has glass eyes and metal fins.


Ice fish decoys were primarily used in the Upper American Midwest, particularly in states like Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan, as well as southern Canada and upstate New York.


The beaver has a moveable tail.

    The Insurance claim requires the following Photos.

    1. One or more clearly showing the damaged area.
    2. The damaged on the box.
    3. The postage/shipping label with the Buyers address.
    4. Labels or writing on the box such as "Fragile" or "Handle with Care".
    5. The item set back in the box with packaging around it.


    Steps for me to File a Claim

    The Buyer is to throw nothing out. (Save the damaged item, box and all packing materials.)

    1. Provide me with a description of the damage and photos.
    2. I will file a claim submitting the above from #1.
    3. The Shipper may require seeing the item. If so, it must be repackaged using the original box and packaging materials. Arrangements will be made for the Shipping Service to receive the item.
    4. Once the Shipper examines the item and renders their decision, closure will occur.
    5. Please note, I do not know how long it will take the Shipping Service to make their decision on the claim.
