Antique Oak Picture Frame.

American picture frame, made of sawn and carved oak.

Mitered corners, dark stained oaken wood.

Made circa 1900 frame for a 10" x 12" picture or photograph.

Made in the period of the Arts & Crafts movement in America.

The original wire hanger is still tightly attached to small, old screw-eyes.

No glass.

Remains of old black paper backing at the rear of the frame.

About 1" deep.

This frame was made for a 10" x 12" picture.

( rabbet size is 10 1/" x 12 1/" )

Sight ( viewing area from the front ), 9 1/2" x 11 1/2"

Good Condition.

The picture frame is in good condition, with a little wear on the raised, rounded upper surface around the outer edges of the frame.

The mitered frame corners are still very tight.

Remnant of old black paper backing at the rear of the frame.

No glass ( a 10" x 12" sheet of glass is easy to obtain ).

A beautiful antique oak picture frame, around 120 years old.
