Heavy cast iron Mather & Platt Ltd cover plate, Heavy cast iron Mather & Platt Ltd cover plate, marked “Engineers London Manchester”. Convex raised centre with bolt holes around the edge and a small central hole. Possibly from an old hydrant, pump, sprinkler or industrial waterworks fitting, though exact original use is unknown.

Used condition with rust, wear, marks and age-related patina throughout. Great industrial salvage, display, wall plaque or restoration piece.
