Hello,

This pot was made by Yukizyou Nakano, founder of the famous Gyouzan Kiln in the Tokoname region of Japan. Known as the best modern day living potter, especially for mid size and larger unglazed pots. He's internationally known for his great works and his pots are seen in nearly every kokufu ten album in the past 30 years or more.

This pot, like many of his, have very usable and attractive sizes and shapes.

This pot has a great patina on the rim, likely 30-40 year old range. Nice patina, really nice old pot,

-nice big pot. Easy to pair. After his death in 2026 his pots have really spiked in price.
