The ALFA VS-888 is the primary aftermarket housing set designed to replace the Hobart VS9 grater and shredder attachments. It functions as the "outside shell" base (the back housing) and does not include the shredding or slicing disks themselves

Recommended Operational Speeds
When mounted to multi-speed commercial mixers or power drives, the manufacturer recommends the following speeds according to the Alfa Power Attachments Guide: 
  • 3-Speed Mixers: Operate exclusively in 3rd speed.
  • 4-Speed Mixers: Operate exclusively in 2nd speed.
