Dried Banana Leaves (Leaf Litter) –10pcs
Upgrade your blackwater setup with dried banana leaves – a classic, versatile leaf-litter botanical used to build a richer substrate zone, encourage biofilm and microfauna, and create a more natural, shaded, “forest floor” look.
Banana leaves are especially useful if you want lots of surface area for shrimp to graze on and plenty of leaf material for scaping, without needing lots of different pods.

How to use
Ideal for blackwater and botanical aquariums – add gradually over 1–3 weeks rather than all at once.
For lighter tannins or multiple tanks, simply divide the pack into smaller portions and dose each aquarium separately.
Rinse all botanicals before use; optional pre-soak in hot water for 15–30 minutes to help them sink and to soften leaves for shrimp.
As a simple starting guide:
20–40 L tanks: start with 4–8 pieces, then top up as they soften.
60–120 L tanks: start with 10–20 pieces depending on how heavy you want the leaf litter.
Top up or replace every 4–6 weeks, depending on how quickly leaves are consumed and how dense you want the litter bed.
A thin white biofilm on new botanicals is normal and usually harmless – shrimp love to graze on it. If you find any piece unsightly, just remove it and replace with a fresh one.
