ROTC Collar Discs--Pre-WW2
Two original pre-WW2 college ROTC enlisted collar discs, as follows:
(1) North Texas Agricultural College, Arlington, Texas. One piece Type II gilt brass construction with screw post and washer fastener and cross hatch/shields background. Type II discs were generally made from 1926 to 1937. NTAC went by this designation from 1923 to 1949 and is today's University of Texas-Arlington.
(2) Virginia Polytechnic Institute Air Corps ROTC, one piece Type I gilt brass construction with screw post and washer fastener. Note how wing prop design has been intentionally polished smooth.
Average age tarnish to both, otherwise undamaged and will clean easily if desired. Nice stuff for any collector of collar discs in general and ROTC/College discs in particular, in very good condition and one price gets both! Any questions please feel free to ask.
