Audi A5 Cabriolet Convertible 3.0 TDI V6 S-Line Quattro
This listing is for a stunning example of an A5 Cabriolet fitted with the powerful yet economical bulletproof 3.0 V6 TDI engine.
A truly beautiful car which looks far more expensive than it is, a real head turner with the roof down in the summer. Perfect car for this weather but great for all year round driving with its heated fully electric leather seats.
The car has covered 149k miles but may rise slightly as still in daily use. These 3.0 V6 engines are nearly bulletproof and have been known to run for well over 300k miles regularly.
The car has been serviced every year by me in the 4 years I have owned it and has also had a gearbox service, rebuilt mechatronic unit and reconditioned TCU in June 2025.
The has just passed its MOT so has a full 12 months left.
The Convertible roof operates faultlessly at the push of a button and there are no known faults with the car. It drives well and pulls smoothly through all gears.
There is plenty of power but can also be very economical. We have just returned from Cornwall last week (600 mile round trip) and the car drove beautifully without issue and averaged over 55mpg.
The car is fitted with 20 inch alloy wheels from factory, these are the wider slightly dished alloys found on the S5. Not to be confused with the less desirable skinnier alloys or 18/19s which do not offer the same sporty look and stance. The front alloys are fitted with Toyo Proxes tyres with tread remaining (one is worn slightly uneven due to a now-replaced ball joint). Rear alloys are fitted with Nankang AS-2 Sportnex tyres, one of which is brand new.
The infotainment system includes Bluetooth calling, radio, CD player and Sat Nav as well as various settings for the car and system. I have also fitted an Invery Bluetooth module (costing £80) in the glovebox allowing Bluetooth music to be played wirelessly from Spotify etc on your phone. I can include the module with the car at full asking price.
Paired with the Bang & Olufsen sound system, the music quality is particularly good.
This car has not been modified or molested, however I have fitted S5 style honeycomb grilles to the front and fog light surrounds which really face-lift the car making it stand out from the rest and appear far newer than it is.
The interior is in fair condition for the age, with the full black leather heated and electric adjustable S-Line seats. The seats also have the 'Air Scarf' heated headrest blowers which are an extremely rare option but a godsend on cooler days.
Bad Bits-
The car is now over 16 years old so has picked up a few scuffs and scrapes over the years.
-Underside of front bumper has some scrapes
-Alloy wheels would benefit from a refurb/repaint
-Scuff on rear bumper (left side)
-Various stone chips on front end
-Stone chip on front windscreen which has been professionally repaired but still visible (Was not picked up on MOT)
-Various small scratches on the bodywork, however it still looks great when washed and waxed.
Overall the car is lovely, and looks like a much newer, much more expensive car. Grab a real bargain, fun car for the summer.
Genuine reason for sale, I have a baby due soon so am looking to switch to a larger car. May be open to PX or swaps for a Mercedes E Class Estate or Jaguar XF Sportbrake (or similar)

Car is located in Whitwick, 5 minutes from Junction 22 of the M1 motorway.
Whilst test drives are of course welcome, please bring proof of driving licence and proof of fully comprehensive insurance to drive any car (not just 3rd party for other cars). If you are unable to show this I am happy to take you out on an extensive drive with me driving.

I believe this to be by far the best example at this price point, with the only other comparable car on Ebay right now having a hydraulic roof issue, notoriously costing thousands to repair.
Do not confuse this with the underpowered and unreliable smaller engined cars, this variant truly is the only one to buy.
