Please take a moment to read the description, condition and browse the photos. Description: This is an older mask from the African Ivory Coast, attributed to the Guro Tribe, Kweni People. This mask features a large bird crest, banded forehead and scarification to cheeks with finely carved slit eyes which you can clearly see through. If you look at the reverse of the mask you can really see it is a vintage piece, probably from the mid 20thC. I am sure it was made for the trade market but is quite nice and overall displays very well.

Measures approx.; 21" tall x 10" wide x 4" deep

Condition:

Normal very minor wood checks and wear. Original finish, untouched, still a bit estate dusty. Please view all photographs as they are part of the condition report.
