- A vintage spiral-bound KitchenAid mixer book set featuring the English-language manual KitchenAid Mixers & Attachments Recipes & Instructions and its companion Spanish booklet titled Batidoras y Dispositivos Instrucciones, both produced by KitchenAid Portable Appliances of St. Joseph, Michigan.
- The English booklet opens with warranty and service information, an ownership registration section, and important safety instructions, then describes stand mixer models K5SS and KSM5, models K45SS and KSM90, using KitchenAid attachments, beater-to-bowl clearance, care and cleaning, planetary mixing action, mixer use, and a speed control guide.
- Following the operating guidance is an extensive recipe section organized into mixing tips; appetizers, entrees, and vegetables; cakes, frostings, and candies; cookies and quick breads; pies and pastry; and yeast breads, with illustrated examples such as stuffed zucchini, carrot loaf, cream puffs, pancakes, spiced doughnuts, sixty-minute rolls, and light rye bread tailored to the stand mixer.
- Later chapters present KitchenAid attachments and accessories with diagrams and instructions, including the 2 Piece Dual Purpose Pouring Shield, food grinder and sausage stuffer, rotor slicer/shredder model RVSA, pasta maker, fruit and vegetable strainer, grain mill model GMA, mixer covers, citrus juicer, food tray, can opener model CO, water jacket model K5AWJ, 3 quart bowl, bowl cover, and the Multi-Function Attachment Pak model FPPA, plus authorized service center listings through page 83.
- The separate Spanish-language booklet Batidoras y Dispositivos Instrucciones offers a concise translation of key sections, covering warranty and service, product registration, safety instructions, mixer models K5SS, KSM5, K45SS, and KSM90, attachment use, beater-to-bowl spacing, care and cleaning, mixer operation and speed controls, yeast bread information, dough hook variations, tips for kneading and baking, and shaping loaves, noted as Revision 1992 on the contents page.
- Both manuals are softcover, spiral-bound reference books with color photographic covers featuring a classic KitchenAid tilt-head mixer and baked dishes, interior pages set in black text with blue section headers, line drawings, and black-and-white photographs that illustrate mixer features, attachments, recipes, and breadmaking techniques for home cooks.
• Condition: This vintage 1992 KitchenAid spiral-bound manual set remains a nice functional reference for classic stand mixers and attachments. Color photographic covers on both English and Spanish booklets show light to moderate surface rubbing, scattered small surface scuffs, and edge and corner wear, including some color loss near the top spine of the Spanish cover. Spiral bindings are intact with slight bending at a few loops. Interior pages shown in the photos are clean and unmarked, with fully legible text, diagrams, and recipes, and the booklets open and close normally. The illustrations and instructions are as crisp and clear as the day these jewels rolled off the press.
