Selling my 1996 Eddie Bauer XL Edition Bronco. Vehicle has had quite a bit of work done on it and has been stored indoors since buying it in 2022. I am the second owner. Vehicle was last inspected and passed in April of 2025. Work completed on vehicle include:
- Complete body work to seal and remove all rust, with repaint (2024)
-Minor mechanical work, trucks runs and drives as expected with no issues
-New battery and terminal relays
-New brake pads (2025)
-Regular maintenance including oil changes, alignments /rotations
Car starts up, drives, and runs without any issue. Steering is on the looser end, if purchasing I would consider new steering box over the next few years, but has not been of concern since owning. This is not a project vehicle, I do not drive it regularly but have been getting it professionally serviced and worked on for the last 4 years. Also included but not installed are
-Replacement front and rear 'Smoked' lights (operate with the same standard bulb installed- $250 new in box, will be included with vehicle)
-Red Genuine Leather L Seat covers for all seats in vehicle, these were designed to fit this exact vehicle and I have been meaning to re-upholster the seats, but never got around to it ($800 new, will include these with the vehicle)
Vehicle has minor defects (in pictures) including:
- Very small dent left side of tail gate
-The start of a very small rust patch on R side of back bumper
-Front bumper chrome peeling
-Worn weather strips (they are functional, just old)
-Light staining on some of the interior floor carpet
-Driver side arm rest comes loose
-Small crack on dashboard (less than 2 inches)
-Back window operates from the switch up front - key turning mechanism that rolls down window from tailgate needs to be replaced if you would like that functionality
-Front passenger side light has a break in seal, will let condensation in, operates fine
It is a very nice vehicle overall and has had a lot of work done to restore it to it's former glory. It was in decent shape when I bought it years back and just needed some TLC and rust work. Title is clean and I have put less than 8k miles on it in the last 4 years, currently at about 169,000 miles, odometer is accurate. Please note vehicle is not inspected this year, we recently moved and have kids - I have been planning on selling it. Happy to provide test drives and if an independent inspection is requested, one can be completed at the buyers expense.
