Pocket Compass

A vintage West German pocket compass, dating from c.1950-1960. Marked ‘West Germany' on the compass card. In the years immediately after the end of WW2, many items were produced in West Germany for export to the British market. This compass probably dates from around 10 - 20 years after the end of the war. The compass has a brass case, blued needle, and paper compass card.
Condition:
In good condition, working order, and finds North well. With minor signs of age and wear, and some marks to the original finish of the brass case. Marked ‘West Germany' on the compass card.
