The Heidenhain AE LB 301 (Id.Nr. 284931-01) is a scanning unit designed for large-scale incremental linear encoder systems in the LB 301 series. This scanning head was removed from a working system and bench-tested to verify signal output integrity. The unit powered on cleanly and produced stable analog current signals consistent with the 11 µA sinusoidal specification. Housing shows normal handling marks and light surface wear from prior installation. Optical scanning window is clean with no damage observed.
