A Japanese export art deco circa 1920s-40s Komei Damascene shallow cigarette / card case with 24K gold thread inlay hammered into chiselled grooves on a blackened metal base.  It features a dragon chasing pearl border with cranes and pagoda central panels.  There are some light surface scratches.  Please note there are light reflections in the photos.  The tomato can is just to give a sense of size.  Please use the zoom on the photos which form part of the description.
