Recently found in Brittany and assumed to be French. A wooden plaque with a bronze patina coloured bas relief type spelter metal Head of Jesus Christ. The wood is covered by a veneer of varnished wood. A small metal bust of Our Lady of Lourdes has been added to the bottom of the plaque. It is coloured gold which has worn off in places. A metal strip on the back says "SIR DE N.D. LOURDES". There is a loop for wall hanging. Approx. measurements: Total Height = 24 cm Total Width = 17.5 cm The brass colour has worn away in places. The varnish has become slightly cracked and bubbled in places. There has been damage to the nose.
