Description

HERE ARE 6 NICE AMETHYST QUARTZ SPECIMENS FROM URUGUAY.

These are really "NICE" specimens of Amethyst Quartz from Uruguay!   These 5 specimens range in size from around  1.5" to 2.5" face up and around 1" tall in size.  They weigh a total of 1 pound, 1.9 ounces.  They have a mixture of really nice  light purple drusy amethyst quartz crystal points up to 3/8" in size nestled throughout the pieces.   The crystals stick up nicely on the top of the pieces and most of them are not damaged except near the very edge where the piece broke off from the nodule it came from.  The bottoms of each piece is a dull dark color that is normal for these types of geode pieces.   To really understand the look of the piece you just have to look at the pictures which in this case really don't look nearly as nice as the pieces do in real life.  The pictures were taken with the specimens dry under natural light shining through my window on a sunny day with no enhancement whatsoever.

I do allow customers to combine shipping costs if ordering multiple items.   A medium flat rate USPS priority mail box only costs $16.10 with tracking!  So you could combine several pieces to lower your shipping costs into one medium flat rate box!

I also don't add any additional packing or handling fees.   One other thing, if shipping overseas, the charges below don't apply, instead I will charge the actual shipping charges to the country that the specimen is going to.   Please contact me and let me know how you want the mineral shipped if USPS priority mail is not OK. If you are unhappy with a purchase of any of my minerals please contact me and I will gladly discuss what can be done to correct the problem. I want to have happy long term customers. Please don't leave negative feedback until you attempt to resolve any problems with me. Thanks for looking at my specimens.

I spent 5 years living in Shanghai China where I was working as an electronic engineer for an american company. I spent my spare time on weekends and holidays pursuing my long time hobby of collecting minerals. I am married to a beautiful Chinese lady who has helped immensely with this passion. With her help I ended up making contacts with miners and setting up a partnership with a chinese man who takes care of business for me in China. When I returned from China I was laid off from my job in 2002,  so I have been importing and selling these minerals mostly wholesale across the country in order to feed the family.
