Hi I am Selling off some of my collection. Here for sale is a Vintage WW1 British Officers Working Verner,s pattern VIII 1918 Compass in Leather Case which is also Dated 1918. This is a blackened brass compass housed in 1918 dated leather case. The compass to the front and sides in a used condition showing some cosmetic markings and some of the rubber to the reverse is missing. The compass is maker marked E. Koehn , Genevre, Suisse to the reverse, along with serial number and the M.O.D. Broad arrow marking. Transit clasp in working order. There is some cosmetic wear to the compass facing as per photos. The case is maker marked D. stokes, Edinburgh and has the name J. Coates written on front. The case is In a good used condition with signs of patina with a small piece which has come unstitched.
