Description
Vintage Fire Alarm Demonstration / Display Board featuring an incredible assortment of antique and mid-century fire alarm pull stations, signal devices, and emergency components mounted to a large custom wood display board.
This is one of the coolest and most unusual firefighting-related displays I’ve come across. The board appears to have been assembled as a fire alarm demonstration, training, educational, maintenance, or salesman display, showcasing multiple generations of local fire alarm technology from different manufacturers and eras.
The mix of components appears to span roughly the early 1900s through mid/late 20th century, creating a unique visual piece with incredible industrial character and collector appeal.
Included components appear to feature examples from manufacturers such as:
• Gamewell fire alarm station (Newton, Massachusetts)
• Simplex local fire alarm pull stations
• Faraday pull station
• NATSCO fire signal / pull station cover
• IBM / break glass alarm component
• Early “Break Glass” style alarm box with pull chain
• Standard local fire alarm round pull station
• Additional vintage fire alarm mechanisms and electrical components mounted on reverse
Several pieces retain excellent embossed lettering, cast metal construction, original paint, mechanical pull functions, and fantastic patina throughout.
The reverse side still shows old electrical/mechanical components and mounting hardware, adding to the authenticity and industrial history of the display.
This would make an incredible:
• Firehouse display piece
• Fire museum or firefighter collection item
• Industrial / steampunk décor piece
• Man cave or office conversation piece
• Vintage fire alarm collector centerpiece
• Historical firefighting memorabilia display
A truly one-of-a-kind setup that would be extremely difficult to recreate.
