SHIPPED IN A BOX. Antique, 1915 printing of Spoon River Anthology by Edgar Lee Masters, and published by The Macmillan Company in New York. First Edition in 1915, 8th printing - October 1915. Teal color boards with gilt and black lettering/graphic. Measures approximately 7.6 in. x 5.25 in. x 1.25 in. with 247 pages + adverts for other Macmillan publications. Check all photos.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition. Pages are tight, spine has a crease/scratch? - see photo #4. Book store stamp inside back cover, corners are bumped/worn, back 4 pages are uncut (photo #19), the first 50 odd pages have the reader's pencil marks, and at least two pages with a stain (photo #16). Please, this is an old book and will not hold up to cracking the spine - which should never be done anyway, old or new. Examine photos closely.
My Packaging: The book will be carefully wrapped (including plastic for protection from moisture), and shipped in a box by Media Mail with tracking. Clean packaging used; never, never newspaper or "paper" envelopes . . . padded or otherwise. Shipped from SMOKE and PET-FREE home. Any detectable odors will be noted in the description.
