DESCRIPTION – Genuine antique zograscope with a 4.5 inch diameter optical viewing lens, mirror, and original stand – see photos of the item.  It is 24 inches high.  This came from a Philadelphia estate.  Zograscopes were popular during the latter half of the 18th century as parlor entertainments.  I cannot find any markings as to maker or when it was made.  This looks rather primitive compared to some of the ornate French and English models.  The photograph shown in photos not included.     

I have no experience with Zograscopes, so please look over the photos and ask questions if needed.

CONDITION – See photos.  Optical lens has some marks.  See Photo - There is a scratch in the center with other cleaning marks and rubs.  Viewing will be very good.  The mirror looks very clean with expected marks from age.  Four small nail (?) holes along top – see photo.  The stand is sturdy.
