Welcome! This listing is for a LOT of 3 vintage animal physiology textbooks. The trade paperbacks are all in Good + to Very Good Condition. The specific books included in the listing and any additional issues are as follows:
- "New Directions in Ecological Physiology" edited by Feder, Bennett, Bruggren and Huey. This 1990 Cambridge University Press reprint focuses on the fields of life sciences/ecology and life sciences/anatomy & physiology and offers a comprehensive look at the subject of ecological physiology. The spine and hinges are very good and the cover is flat aside from very minor corner wear. The majority of pages are clean and in very good condition. However, there is pen underlining present on pages 329-337 (a few of these pages are shown in the photos).
- "Life's Devices: The Physical World of Animals and Plants" by Steven Vogel, published by Princeton University Press in 1988. This textbook explores the physical aspects of animals and plants, providing insights into their biological mechanisms and functions. With a comprehensive approach, the text covers a range of topics within the field of biology. There is slight creasing on the front cover, but otherwise this book is very good, with clean pages throughout and a strong spine.
- "Ecological Morphology: Integrative Organismal Biology" by Stephen M. Reilly. This 1994 University of Chicago Press publication explores the intricate relationship between organisms and their environments through the lens of ecological morphology. There is slight creasing on the front cover, but otherwise this book is very good with clean pages, free from highlighting or underlining as well as a strong spine and hinge.
